Description: 
We had what appears to be a new deadlock in channel.c today. output of core
show locks attached.

enst:  is this "core show locks" from a revision at 89045 or higher?  There
was a bug in the "core show locks" routine prior to that revision where we
didn't show locks that were stuck in a trylock loop.  Your output doesn't
show any apparent deadlocks, which is why I'm wondering about the revision.
