No subject

Dial an extension such as "1005".  The higher the number, the more times it
will try to  dial back and forth.  I'm doing this on a box without a
soundcard, and it complains about not being able to open /dev/dsp but dials
anyway.

In my case, this test hangs after the first few channels are opened. 
"iax2 show stats" shows results such as:

Outstanding frames: 2174 (31 ingress, 2143 egress)
Packets in transmit queue: 1249 dead, 0 final, 2142 total

and "iax2 show threads" shows:

15 of 10 threads accounted for with 94 dynamic threads

I have attached "iax_trace.pcap.gz", captured on the box initiating the
call.
