[Asterisk-bugs] Old Bug Fixed In 1.4?

Greetings all!

  My company has been suffering from the "ring requested on channel X"
bug (documented in the bug mantis at
http://bugs.digium.com/view.php?id=6147) for a very long time now. In
reading the 1.4 documentation it seems that digium decided to do away
with AgentCallbackLogin entirely in favor of dial plan logic.

  My question is, has anyone had this problem previous to 1.4 and had
the upgrade to 1.4 "fix" it?

  If I can confirm that replicating the newer dialplan logic that
replaces AgentCallbackLogin does get rid of this bug it would be most
helpful!
