Summary: ztmonitor issues
Description:
I recently tried ztmonitor to set up my rx/tx gains on my zaptel hardware
and I noticed one issue.
When giving -r -t or -R -T options to monitor rx/tx separately it results
in the receive stream being saved as the transmit one (and the transmit
stream as the receive one). This is the same for preecho streams.
Apparently this bug appeared in revision 2433 (when the feature was added).

Exactly. This is what I said in my bug Description, the bug is there since
the addition of the feature.

I do agree that this may be a question of perspective but it should be
coherent in the same program.
What is wrong is that the convention is not kept in the whole program.
The Output shown in the console by the -v or -vv arguments are just the
opposite  of what is saved using -r -t or -R -T => this is a what I call a
bug.

Try:
ztmonitor -r recv -t trans -v
What is shown in the console as RX stream will be saved in 'trans' and
what is shown as TX stream will be saved in 'recv'.
That's more than annoying.

As -r,-t,-T,-R feature was added much after the -v option the problem lies
in (-r, -t, -T, -R) which do not respect the -v 'convention'.
Moreover the -v 'convention' is the right way to see things as far as I am
concerned.
