Description: 

I just updated from 1.2 to 1.4 and when some people hit "*" to drop to
"a", it causes asterisk to core.  It doesn't happen with all customers.

I was able to find someone else with the same core here:

but was unable to find the bug report.

You need to try 1.4.15, to make sure this wasn't already fixed.
