[Asterisk-bsd] dahdi-2.3.0rc2 will not build on freebsd 8.0p3

I can't get dahdi to load on my 8-STABLE machine.  The failure is
firmware related:

 dahdikldload: can't load dahdi: No such file or directory

dmesg:
link_elf: symbol firmware_put undefined
