Is there a reason the man page for portupgrade is of little help? I
think it is pretty clear about what it does and how it works.
Once it updates, just restart the running asterisk.
If you have problems with the process, please let us know
specifically how far you got and what problems you are seeing.

Can anyone tell me what changes were made to the port on 10/17? That would make the decision to update easier.
