I'm pleased (I think!) to say I've  found a set of circumstances here that 
will replicate this warning - which means I have a hope in heaven of working 
out what is causing it!

PS 1.2.13 port (to fix remotely exploitable vulnerability in chan_skinny) is 
on its way...!
