Hello list, new around here.

After some digging with it, i cannot say if it works or not. Everything is
installed, configured and should work (works with a linux-asterisk setup). I'm
not sure if i'm doing something wrong or it just isn't posible.

when i do ztcfg it outputs:
[root at asterisk-v2 /usr/ports/misc/zaptel/work/zaptel-freebsd-0.11]# ztcfg

Keyword: [defaultzone], Value: [es]

The zaptel.conf is the same i have on the linux box, and works. And i found that
i dont have the /dev/zap/# devices that correspond to channels (that i have on
my linux ast), only the timer ctl channel and pseudo devs. And when i try to
load Asterisk it fails trying to load one of those channels devs that dont
exist.
# asterisk -cvvvvvvv output

---- After this it goes back to the shell.

I tried to not avail to see why those devs dont get created.
My question is: Is it really posible to have this setup working?
Im not asking what is better. If you know what could be wrong i'd really
apreciate it.

Thanks,
Alejandro.
