Hello -

I am trying to install a Digium TDM2400P on a Dell PowerEdge 2850 running
FreeBSD 5.5-PRERELEASE. When I try to run ztcfg, I get the following:

Keyword: [loadzone], Value: [us]

Keyword: [defaultzone], Value: [us]

Keyword: [span], Value: [1,1,3,ccs,ami]

Keyword: [span], Value: [2,0,3,ccs,ami]

ZT_SPANCONFIG failed on span 1: Device not configured (6)

A quick glance at pciconf -lv shows the Digium card is detected as the
following:

none0 at pci10:3:0:        class=0x020000 card=0x2400d161 chip=0x2400d161
rev=0x11 hdr=0x00

    class    = network

    subclass = Ethernet

The output from sysctl -a | grep zaptel yields:

zaptel.debug: 0

zaptel.deftaps: 64

zaptel.pulse.make: 60

zaptel.pulse.break: 40

zaptel.pulse.pause: 800

zaptel.wcfxo.debug: 0

zaptel.wcfxo.monitor: 0

zaptel.wcfxo.batterycheck: 1

zaptel.wcfxs.debug: 0

And finally, a kldstat:

Id Refs Address    Size     Name

 1   13 0xc0400000 34991c   kernel

 2    1 0xc074a000 58034    acpi.ko

 3    1 0xc364c000 4000     logo_saver.ko

 4    7 0xc366e000 2f000    zaptel.ko

 5    1 0xc369d000 7000     qozap.ko

 6    1 0xc36ac000 5000     wcfxo.ko

 8    1 0xc36bd000 6000     wct1xxp.ko

 9    1 0xc36c3000 10000    wct4xxp.ko

10    1 0xc36e5000 9000     wcte11xp.ko

Also, the following line shows up in my console logs:

Apr 18 15:10:20 asterisk kernel: Zapata Telephony Interface Registered on
major 196

The error "ZT_SPANCONFIG failed on span 1: Device not configured (6)" is the
source of my concern. Clearly, the OS can't communicate with the card - can
anyone help shed some light on this situation? All help is appreciated!

Thanks,
