On the subject of zaptel-bsd via svn, do you have any thoughts on the
problem with revisions > 25 on TDM-400 + FXS ?

This was described here a couple of weeks ago; glitches in RX audio
at 1-second intervals.

This problem was noted here by at least one other user and is
a real show-stopper for those with real Digium TDM-400/FXS cards.
