I am planning to write a i4b (isdn4bsd) module for asterisk.
If the HFC cards work with isdnd on FreeBSD this should also work.
I use NetBSD and there the HFC cards are not jet supported:

Cologne Chip Designs HFC-S (miscellaneous network, revision 0x02) at pci0 dev 9 function 0 not 
configured

That is why I currently use AVM Fritz PCI cards. If you or somebody else would add HFC support to i4b 
we would have them supported in * on *BSD soon.
