libpri would never build, use ports. As for asterisk something is
using pthread_create, replace the call with ast_pthread_create

Subject: [Asterisk-bsd] Latest CVS won't build on FBSD 5.3-RELEASE

Updated last night and this morning.

 Asterisk won't build with:

 utils.o: In function `test_for_thread_safety':
  /usr/work/asterisk/asterisk/utils.c:403: undefined reference to
`__use_ast_pthread_create_instead__'
 utils.o: In function `ast_pthread_create_stack':
  /usr/work/asterisk/asterisk/utils.c:405: undefined reference to
`__use_ast_pthread_create_instead__'
 gmake: *** [asterisk] Error 1

 and libpri won't build with:

 pbx# gmake
Makefile:109: .depend: No such file or directory
  ./mkdep -Wall -Werror -Wstrict-prototypes -Wmissing-prototypes -g
-I../zaptel -I../zapata `ls *.c`
 ./mkdep: not found
 gmake: *** [.depend] Error 127

 Any ideas?
