Anyone else seeing this?
I have a system that was previously working OK with a TDM22B (= TDM400B +
2xFXO + 2xFXS) card under a fairly recent FreeBSD-5.x-stable and an older
version of the Zaptel driver (I think 0.9).
I decided to upgrade to RELENG_6 (sources from yesterday, approx
equivalent to FreeBSD-6.0-BETA1), and since I needed to rebuild the zaptel
modules to match the new kernel, I updated to the latest version from
ports, zaptel-0.10.
Now, the driver modules load and probe the card OK:
Zapata Telephony Interface Registered on major 196

Freshmaker version: 71
Freshmaker passed register test
Module 0: Installed -- AUTO FXS
Module 1: Installed -- AUTO FXS
Module 2: Installed -- AUTO FXO
Module 3: Installed -- AUTO FXO
Found a Wildcard TDM: Wildcard TDM400P REV E/F (4 modules)
but any attempt to configure the card (either with ztcfg, or by starting
Asterisk) causes an immediate crash with what looks like an
indirection-through-null-pointer.
I haven't yet managed to get a meaningful backtrace from the resulting
core, but if this problem isn't known already I will try harder to get
one.
I have rebuilt both the kernel and the zaptel modules (via portupgrade -f)
to ensure modules and kernel are in sync.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
