Hello All,

There is a problem with the port of asterisk for FreeBSD. It is not
capable to make outgoing calls using H323 channel driver. There is a
permanent error:

JerJer (the developer of the H323 channel driver) and some other
people say that it happens because of using incorrect versions of Open
H.323 and PWLib. It is necessary to use Open H.323 v1.12.2 and PWLib
v1.5.2 strictly. But FreeBSD port of asterisk depends on
openh323-1.12.0_4 and pwlib-1.5.0_5,1. So there is a version mismatch
:-(

At the same time Open H.323 v1.12.2 and PWLib v1.5.2 cannot be
compiled under FreeBSD. Their developers say that it is necessary to
use the latest snapshots under *BSD. But they are not compatible with
asterisk's H323 channel driver.

Well it looks like a coterie :-( Is there any solution that allows to
make H.323 fully workable under FreeBSD?
