For people running 5.X they should pick up the latest CVS and recompile and install ... linking with the right library makes a huge difference! I now have a 4.10 box and will have a look at any issues. I am not sure what threaded libraries 4.10 has if it uses the re-entrant c library then that has known forking issues. Chris
