We can argue about the cost of housing in certain areas all day. One <br>
can always trade-off rents for higher commute expense, and so on.<br>
<br>
What remains true at the end of the day is that the greater London area <br>
is a high-cost market in which 30K is not much improvement over minimum <br>
wage. It's certainly possible to live on such an income, but it is not <br>
reasonable to expect someone with the skills demanded to do so.<br>
