If you google "vanity toll free number" any number of sites will come
up that will allow you to check it's available, though they may or may
not check directly with a up to the minute database. For VoIP and
toll free I've been happy working with vitelity (vitelity.com). I
have no relationship with them other than as a customer. I also know
they serve as a resporg for toll free numbers.
