<br><br>I'm just a regular IT professional in Canada. (I'm not a recruiter or anything) A long time colleague of mine recently moved to China to head up his company's IT operations there. Since I have some experience with telephony he asked me for some advice and, after some discussion, I suggested Asterisk.
<br><br>In the process of finding an installer, we found the list of providers in his region on <a href="http://voip-info.org" target="_blank" onclick="return top.js.OpenExtLink(window,event,this)">voip-info.org</a> and other sources to be smaller than I would expect. As you say, there should be lots of Asterisk activity in the Shanghai area. I was surprised at how little I turned up, so, I offered to post to this list for him.
<br><br>I guess the process might seem a bit unusual but neither my friend nor I are plugged in to the local Asterisk community in China and this seemed like a good way to put the opportunity out there and find a company that he can work with.
