An international manufacturing company with facilities in China is seeking proposals for an Asterisk based solution to their office needs.<br><br>The following is a short list of system requirements: <br><br> * System needs to be able to support 350 handsets / devices in the initial deployment
<br> * System needs to be expandable to support 500+ handsets / devices over time<br> * System needs to support either analog phone lines or digital (ISDN) phone lines (BRI or PRI)<br> * System needs IP trunk side capability, supporting at least SIP and IAX protocols
<br> * Handsets must be connected to the system via TCP/IP<br> * System must support analog line-side devices such as fax machines (both for inbound and outbound)<br> * System must support advanced ISDN services (DID etc…)
<br> * System must be able to support sending of recorded voice messages as wav / mp3 attachments in email<br> * System needs to be able to support security codes for long distance call tracking and department charge backs
<br> * System must have a web based management interface allowing administrators to perform common move/add/change operations such as setting up new extensions, resettting voicemail password etc. <br><br>Vendors must be able to provide same-day on-site service in the Shanghai area.
