Jonathan,

You may have a real problem with this as VoIP that interconnects to the
carrier is against the law in  India. There are 2 companies allowed to do
it (both monopolies) and both have yet to request the license (almost a
year after they were allowed to).

The only VoIP services that are legal are intercompany ones that do not
connect to any other communications network. So those who offered the
services have left the business.

Not sure about the status in Pakistan.
