On the laptop side, if it doesn’t need to be Windows or MAC (i.e., everything they’ll need to use are web apps) check out Google’s Chromebooks (https://www.google.com/chromebook/find/).

Keep in mind though, everything has to be web apps as you can’t install windows/mac/linux apps on it. (that’s kind of a lie, if you are good with Linux you can actually install a lot of linux apps, and stuff like Microsoft Office could be used from office360/one drive, but I tend to like Google Drive better)

The only "basic" IP phones around that price I've ever seen is the base level Cortelco model. I think it's the C56P Entry Level IP Phone.

We've tested against Asterisk, and these work OK.

Don't have any idea on the Laptops.
