At first it will help if you can provide trace log information, as interconnected system is based on ISDN interconnection  it can get the disconnect causes.
By the other way I guest problem it can becomes from your design Asterisk dialplan rules for calls  from asterisk->hipath->pots , it could help if you can post dialplan schema for intended pots call routes.
