Alistair,

The procedure to add people to Asterisk VQM mail list was to send them 
invitation. We believe that in your case instead of invitation (radio button 
in mail list software) your email was accidently added to the mail list 
(another radio button). Out of couple of hundreds of subscribers so far we 
got 2 messages requesting removal from the list (including yours). This was 
made immediately. We do realize that there were mistakes from our side if 
such complaints happen and are eager to do our best to fix this asap.
