Wouldn't that be a bit like opening an intra-disciplinary house journal 
to 4chan?

Without neglecting to duly note the persuasive appeal of "plz," in what 
twisted universe do routes just get "opened?"  At a minimum it is 
typically necessary to establish some sort of formal commercial 
relationship, if only in the form of a trial and/or testing.
