The poritng system is run by Synerverse (or something similar), I can
find out if you want (contact me offlist - take asterisk out my email).

Re MNO interconnect, it depends on who you connect to and whether they
allow transit queries to other networks (they don't have to). You can of
course interconnect with a foreign operator who has agreements will all
UK operators.
