there is, there is the -users, -dev, and a few other lists available.
If you want a technical discussion some of those other lists may be more
suitable for you.  This list is specifically set up to allow promotions
that are related to asterisk in some way, as well as other
business/commercial related topics to asterisk.

I believe the url is http://lists.digium.com I have full faith that no
less than 5 people will correct me if I am wrong,  its kinda like
putting the wrong cover sheet on your tps reports :)
