Otherwise, failing that, I would focus on the extensibility and 
integration possibilities that underlie open-source approaches.  This 
is precisely where open-source is strongest;  the presence of 
countless APIs and libraries, etc.  In the case of Asterisk, this 
means AMI and especially AGI.

Proprietary solutions sometimes have this too, but it's expensive, 
incurs extra licensing costs, is black-box and requires expensive 
proprietary development, possibly additional data acquisition 
hardware, etc.
