They confuse the issue by calling the wiki a white board when it's
really a wiki - no real ability to draw/chart any basic whiteboard
functionality.

Interesting to note that www.huddle.net <http://www.huddle.net/> is
using Zoho writer for their online document editor (basic word docs etc)
and Zoho sheet for excel. Wondering how long till they have a basic PPT
function as well.

Also very different from the original post about screen sharing - so not
sure why this was even suggested.

As it's only available as an ASP service still has the issue some people
might want to download this and run from their own server but not a bad
looking application.

Cheers,
Dean

steve,
does this compete with huddle? this used to be open source, or at least
there was an osrc version https://www.webhuddle.com/

What is Huddle?

Huddle gives you simple, secure online workspaces containing powerful,
office, project and collaboration tools
<http://www.huddle.net/online-collaboration> that can be used for a
variety of purposes. Huddle is hosted, there's no software to download
and it's free to get started.

With Huddle you can instantly create a network of collaborative team
workspaces, each time bringing together the right team for the right
activity. You can manage projects
<http://www.huddle.net/project-management> , team and relationships or
share ideas <http://www.huddle.net/document-sharing> , files and
information, or both. And because you are joining a network of
workspaces, you can collaborate with hundreds of different people, teams
and organisations globally in one place.

If you ever needed a personal workspace, online office, intranet,
extranet, file sharing, team collaboration or project management tool,
Huddle is for you.

Here's what you get with each Huddle:

*	Space: From 1Gb upwards
*	Dashboard: Manage multiple Huddle workspaces securely in one
place
*	Users: ability to invite unlimited users into your workspaces
*	File storage: Automated versioning, audit trails and approval
workflows. Up to 2Gb per file
*	Document creation: Use embedded web office tools to create new
files online or save document from your desktop directly into Huddle
*	Whiteboards: Or wiki, share ideas, comment, brainstorm
*	Project calendar: Assign tasks, auto reminders and iCal
integration
*	Notifications: Via dashboard, email and RSS
*	Branding: Customise your dashboard, homepage, emails, custom URL

*	Control: view/read/edit permissions, audit trails
*	Security: 128 bit SSL, control over who can see and read
documents, 99.5% uptime guarantee
*	Support: Online help system, phone, and email helpdesk,
webinars, video tutorials, on-site support
*	Accessibility: No client to download; Windows, Mac, Firefox,
Safari, IE, Facebook integration
*	Open API: Integrate Huddle into existing applications or build
tools on top of the platform

Does this not do multicast? I cannot find it in the docs but if it
does along with all the other features, it looks pretty hot. I think
I am going to dive into this.

"VMukti's complete focus is on placing the users and customers in
control by abolishing the artificial restrictions imposed by vendors.
Deploy VMukti On-Demand or On-Site. Use VMukti Open Source Edition for
free or pay for the commercial editions. Create modules that can be
collaborative or non-collaborative. With commercial open source, users
are in charge."

What are the core features of the Vmukti?

I'm a little confused, when someone says voice
conference usually it
is implied that there are more than 2 people in the
conference. Was
the original person asking about actual conferencing or
just simple
calling (which asterisk does out of the box), which
seems to be what
		everyone is replying to.
