if you are going to do this I would request that the details include all
information instead of just glossing over certain things.  For example,
if you have a switch include its firmware version, any options that
affect how the interfaces work, etc.  The same applies for binaries (ldd
output is generally good enough).  Enough so that others could 100%
replicate the test and verify it for themselves (or look at the
methodology used and see if there are flaws there).  

All too often I see tests that barely include any information about how
it was done, making a virtual guarantee that no one can replicate it and
generally I think that makes the test 100% invalid and just propaganda
that is meaningless.  But that is just me.
