thx for the explaination, you are obviously in a better position to explain why google words people are rejecting *asterisk adds when they were prevously accepted... pleas expound...

  it has always been a commercial holding, digium.  Further digium has
  afaik always required the disclaimers so they could sell asterisk, as a
  commercial company.

  They have always operated as a for-profit entity.  Before they were digium
  they were linux support services, also a for-profit entity.
