this is what you need

It is a GSM VoIP gateway where you register the French DID into the gateway
and then put a UK Sim in there. Where you put it is not important
Then in long run you can save money.

That begs the question: where is "in there"? There is no pbx involved
anywhere, this is a redirect from one DID to a UK phone number (mobile
or not)
