Greetings,

We have plenty of rack space in Atlanta that we would happily use to
accommodate cheaply for anyone interested. Atlanta is a major
interconnection and peering point for Tier 1 transit in the US and could
make an excellent location for an additional POP, or various other
things of use to the VoIP community.

The data center is a full-scale, industry-standard facility with
redundant power (two standby diesel generators and UPS plant) that is
quadruple-homed to XO, Savvis, Global Crossing, and Level3 with GigE
feeds (except for one, which I believe is an OC-12). The dark utility
fiber goes back to TelX at 56 W. Marietta St., the major settlement-free
peering point for Tier 1 IP backbones (as well as much voice) in
Atlanta, so we can also meet and cross-connect there. Consequently,
it's a good place to colocate for good VoIP QoS, and the core network
here is also fully voice-prioritising.

We can offer $80/mo for a 1U rackmount server, including power and
bandwidth. Additional bandwidth fees in the $20-$50/mo range may apply
if your bandwidth usage is heavy and sustained (i.e. over ~1 mbps
continuously). Contact me for pricing for nonstandard gear (i.e.
something that wouldn't fit in a 19" data rack) or equipment that is not 1U.

The colocation includes a management component - we'll take care of any
emergency hardware problems, acute Linux & Asterisk issues, etc. at no
additional charge. (Additional charges may apply for extensive,
recurring professional services involvement or support. There are a
number of customers who use us for that way.)

Contact me off-list if you are interested.

Thanks!
