I believe you have misunderstood.
If you read my post, I never at any time implied any negative about 
Thirdlane. I just wanted to put across to people that Druid was one of 
the first to focus on the user side of the GUI that is one of the 
features that Thirdlane has implemented.

I apologize if I implied that Thirdlane copied us or anything like that, 
which was never the intention of the statement.

At the same time, I like to emphasize that many GUIs dumb down asterisk 
implementation. I am glad that alex brought up this point. Druid 
Dialplan wizard in Druid Telephony Platform is a full feature dialplan 
editor. Consultants can create pretty complex dialplan using Druid's 
click & point option based dialplan editor that has incontext help for 
each asterisk command & application. The reason we have this feature 
that I believe has not been widely implemented by other systems is to 
this fully opens up the power of asterisk dialplan.

I also like to mention that we have made Druid extremely focused on the 
zaptel configuration that many consultants have requested from us. I 
have several customers who have used Druid Telephony Platform to 
configure all your zapata.conf such that they can interface with Nortel, 
Alcatel boxes and use Druid Telephony Platform as a gateway.
Look at 'Trunks' > 'Zaptel Trunk'
