Ming,

I don't want to be confrontational, but frankly I am not happy to read your
post, and I wonder if you could just focus on the merits of your software
without referring negatively to Thirdlane. I hope you are not implying that
you invented follow-me, so I don't understand what you mean by the
statement:

> 1) We were the first people who implement the user portal for follow me
> that thirdlane has implemented

Regardless of this - Thirdlane PBX Manager (both single and multi-tenant) is
a very RESELLER/CONSULTANT/INTEGRATOR FRIENDLY Asterisk management solution,
and I would like the consultants on this list to know that. We did not try
to dumb the GUI down beyond (Asterisk) recognition; neither have we claimed
that PBX can be configured by anyone and in no time.

Asterisk is a very powerful (and quite complex) system so while the
management GUI's can simplify it to some extent, taking real advantage of
its power requires expertise (in people) and flexibility (in management
tools).

We tried to do our best to build PBX Manager with professionals in mind.
We also provide what is needed for the routine management by the office
personnel, as well as the end-user tools - follow-me, screening, blocking,
recording, etc - that is what the permissions system is for.

In any case - I did not mean for this to be an advertisement - it is just a
response and a point of view.

So - we would like to hear from partners/experienced Asterisk consultants
who want to be more efficient (and remote) doing complex installations. I
hope you could give PBX Manager a try and find out what it can do for you
and your customers.

Please contact me off the list if you want to know more.

Best regards,
Alex
