Good afternoon,

We are currently looking for an asterisk based solution for our business
which I would like to put out to the community. Our situation is that we
are shortly (in the next couple of weeks) about to move into new offices in
the North East of England (Newcastle). We currently have two lines going
into this building which will provide standard telephone and adsl broadband
capabilities. We have a number of 0845 numbers which are currently mapped
to direct dial numbers which we would like to retain and we will be
providing call centre capabilities internally. We currently have 12 people
which will be growing to 18 by Christmas. Although it is not neccassary for
everyone to have a dedicated telephone we would expect the three people in
the call centre to be busy (both incoming and outgoing calls) and other
staff members would support them where neccassary. We would like standard
'Alpha Tagging' capability - specifically caller id and routing
functionality. We expect there to be 4-5 simultaneous users. Currently
there is no cabling in the offices and the computers are expected to be
connected by a wifi network. We would be interested in learning about
solutions to this although we are capable of running cables through
ourselves if this is required. We currently have no hardware in place (no
phones or connections). We would require a minimum of 10 ddi's capable of
connecting to 'hunt groups'.

Please let me know if you require further information on which to base any
quotes. Our budget for this is currently in the region of £3,100 not
including line rental or the extra lines. We are keen to support the
Asterisk open source community if possible and will give preference to
solutions without proprietary extensions in order to support bespoke
development work in the future.

Thanks and very best wishes

Ian Gilbert
