[asterisk-biz] Wireless SIP Solution

Andrew, the problem is in the protocol, it was never designed to do base
switching like Dect which can switch from base to base in about 1.5
seconds.

(it's dependant on the hardware/manufacturer but as I remember it about
20-30 cycles with a cycle being 1/16th of a second)

Cheers,

Dean

All the standalone WiFi phones I have used are crap, and all the ones I
have wanted to use others have told me are crap.

However, I've never heard bad things about SpectraLink products....

The best solution will be a Dect phone connected to an ATA.

All the best

Not sure on the phones but if you need good wifi radio's for your access
points we have had awesome results using tranzeo products.
