GULFCOMMS 2006, the region's largest international telecommunications
event, will be held from 18 - 22 November 2006 at the Dubai
International Convention and Exhibition Centre. Don't miss the exciting

 	  Potevio MENA	 	 
 	 Potevio MENA is preparing to launch its end-to-end networking,
telecommunications and consumer systems in the Middle East, and hopes to
make a major impact at GULFCOMMS 2006.

At GULFCOMMS we will be exhibiting our 3G products, which we 
co-developed with Nokia; we will exhibit base station repeaters, EDGE
products,cellphones, SIM cards and microwave dishes. What we are trying
to demonstrate is that Potevio is an end-to-end solution, but for both
products and services,” says Alie Hussein Saad, CEO of Potevio MENA.

	
 	  Redline Communications	 	 
 	 First in the world to offer a complete WiMAX Forum certified
wireless broadband system, Redline Communications is a leader in WiMAX
technologies.

With over 70 WiMAX trials and deployments in over 40 countries, 
Redline will demonstrate at GULFCOMMS 2006 why more service providers
choose its products to deploy their wireless WiMAX networks. The
Canada-based company will showcase it RedMAX suite of advanced
standards-based WiMAX products designed for high-speed, high bandwidth
internet connectivity. 

The RedMAX family includes Redline’s WiMAX Forum certified AN-100-I Base
Station and SU-O Customer Premise Equipment.“Redline will demonstrate
its newest RedMAX product the RedMAZ SU-I, a user-installable, indoor
‘plug and play modem,' explains Lisa Cooke, of Redline’s corporate
marketing team.

"The SU-I, innovatively designed with the smallest form factor in the
WiMAX industry delivers personal broadband to consumers and

 	  Avaya	 	 
 	 IP and enterprise communications specialist Avaya will be
approaching GULFCOMMS 2006 with one major question for customers, “What
is possible for your business today?” The company has promised that its
presence at this year’s event will be bigger and better than before with
its exhibition space two and a half times larger than Gitex 2005.

Displaying the latest in Avaya's communications offerings, the stand
will offer exciting demos including video conferencing, and the newest
Avaya one-X deskphones, such as the 9600 Series, with innovations such
as‘the navigator’phone for receptionists, 
the ‘everyday’ version or the phone with specifications for‘essential’
users.	  	 
	
 	  First Video Communications (FVC)	 	 
 	 First Video Communications (FVC) is to focus on its video
conferencing portfolio at GULFCOMMS 2006, as well as promoting a
highly-ambitious video system. “One of the main products on the show at
GULFCOMMS will be the new Polycom high-definition (HD) video
conferencing systems,” says K S Parag, regional director of FVC.

"Before, conferencing systems have been of broadcast quality,but now
we're taking them to the next level – we’ll be demonstrating this live
at GULFCOMMS as well.”FVC will also be featuring Polycom’s RealPresence
Experience conference solution, which offers life-size eye contact video
conferencing for high-end enterprises and power users.
	 	 
 	 
 	  Sky Stream	 	 
 	 Leading satellite services provider Sky Stream is making its
debut at GULFCOMMS 2006, promoting a wide array of cutting-edge services
to show visitors.

Sky Stream,which is the sister company of AtlasTelecommunications,has
built up an impressive services portfolio, all of which it plans to
showcase during the event.

The current range of services offered by Sky Stream includes
shared/dedicated satellite bandwidths, VoIP telephony as well as
customer network operations and management. Atlas
Telecommunications also provides airtime for Inmarsat, Iridium and 
Thuraya. Sky Stream offers VSAT customers in the Middle East and Indian
Subcontinent shared/dedicated satellite bandwidth through NSS6 Satellite

 	 Regional broadband services provider Streamlink is putting in
an appearance at GULFCOMMS this year showcasing its high quality
internet and data communications services, which are delivered using
satellite technology.

In today’s highly-competitive marketplace, Streamlink’s CEO, Jaafar
Najdi is aware that it is the level of quality of service and customer
satisfaction that his company offers that has made the business such a
