[asterisk-biz] India VoIP Gateway

It is my understanding that you are not supposed to have anything leave
India over voip.  If it leaves via PSTN then its 

considered legal.

Can anyone from India tell me if it is legal to originate VoIP traffic from
India through DIDs or tollfree numbers?
