As promised, a new thread: provider wish list. Suggest you trim quotes
or posts will be really long.

Web site: In the members section, once logged in, remove all extra
verbiage, the paying customer needs no further text other than the
account environment.

Make the account balance and running billing total available in the same
place on every member page.

Develop an API that allows checking balance, call cost. Avoid the full
list of all countries, they're a pain to navigate even using Ctrl/F.

Put a call cost calculator on the site, it can use the exact same script
as the API (once identification is done).

A tip from most other service industries: give points of some kind for
use, "sMiles" if you will. This (frequent-flyer stuff) has been called
the number one marketing frill of the century. The points thing can just
be a discount automatically figured in and shown with the balance.

Make it easy to specifiy the level of mail feedback the cust wants to
get: separate service announcements from new feature announcements.

Network "weather report" of some kind on the site (avg lag time
measurement or something).
