Hello list,

Does anyone know about good Asterisk dial plan creator
GUI/software with drag & drop features?
The client who needs this is not a dial play expert,
actually he do not know anything about asterisk dial
plan and needs some simple UI to maintain simple
asterisk dial plan (20 extensions, 3 queues, voicemail
in case of busy extension ... just simple stuff
without new extensions, new queues etc.).
They are looking for a UI that will allow them to
modify existing dialing rules, route calls to
individual extensions, to existing queues, voicemail,
meetMe etc.

I couldn't find a product with such a feature set and
a nice UI (full management software like Fonality,
SwitchVox, Druid etc. is to complicated and will not
work for this client).
Your help will be very appreciated!

Thanks in advance,
Michael

Hi,

$799 is also expensive, instead you can get a sleek cabinet and a Brand
new Dual Core Pentium 3.0gh for around $650 (which is lot powerful then
this one)

Also you dont have Zaptel driver written for MacOS, installing Linux
aint all that fun on this box (Unicall aint all that stable to deploy
on production yet).

More over this box doesnt have any PCI Slot, so cant be used to
interconnect PSTN (if that is what you want to do)

For Plain VoIP trunks, you still may need some kind of Timer device to
reduce Noise and Echo (X100P sort of card), also meetme conference
requires one in PCI Slot, which this box doesnt have, so renders bad
choice.

Again those are from my initial diagnosis, I would like to hear more
opinions on the same from other Asterisk Gurus out here.

I think you're better off just handing your money to a complete stranger on
the street. The VE guy pocketed a lot of money so I've heard and he also
sent a lot of his own traffic to people on his exchange without them even
knowing. That's the word on the streets!

I am looking for PRI or analog two-way DID service out of the ATTLALNM
CO. The NPA-NXX for a POTS line at the service location is 256-536. I
have found no CLECs that service this location.

Please contact me off-list.

I believe that might be true, however, as I have several data T1s
in-house already I do not need any T-1 cards - I'll just continue to
route through my Cisco router. I was also told early on that Sangoma
cards work quite well with Dell servers.

If you have to ask here how it works, haven't you answered your own
question?

We're working with many Australian based call centres that perform a
variety of functions to the USA/Canada/UK markets.

One of the best applications I have seen thus far is a "follow-the-sun"
support desk for Volvo (Canada). The call centre takes 1st level
support calls from customers in Nth America and solves more than 50% of
enquiries whilst Canada is snoozing.

If you have a similar need let me know and I'll put you in contact with
the right guys.

I tend to think this is the second best place to post this. The other
is a yahoo group (name escapes me) not much action but quite a few
memebers.

How are the accents of agents in Sri Lanka? How many seats available?
Infrastructure?

Thanks,
