call content would be illegal for me to monitor, however I do monitor
CDR data, and infact that is required for me to do to operate the
service the way I do. Payments to people who push traffic for example
cant happen without doing that

It would also be a violation of 18 USC 2511 for me to record a call and
share that with anyone but law enforcement. There are other laws that
come into play as well, specific to telecom that prohibit me recording
every call that goes through my network.

18 USC 2511 is the 'electronic communications privacy act' which becuase
this is technically a data stream to me applies to the internet aspect
of voip, the telecom laws apply to the tdm side.

In short, I cant record calls legally, if I ever did I would be looking
at the possibility of many years in jail. I cant listen to calls
legally, if I did I would also be looking at jail time. Then there are
the civil suits that would arise, over and above the criminal.

I do not, nor does anyone from my company listen to the call content.
We do monitor CDR data and related call setup/tear down information (IP
addresses for example which are not part of the CDR records usually).
We do not share that with anyone however other than the companies that
are required for the call to go through, such as the phone company the
number terminates on.

no that is part of the privacy policy which is listed at
http://www.trxtel.com/ We will send information to other companies,
like the phone company where the tollfree terminates, and that is
allowed in the privacy policy, but there wont be any use of the data
other than what is required to complete the call.

Is that clear? If not let me know what specifically is unclear and I
will try to make it clear.
