Flavio,

Thank you for your response. I'm looking for a "answering machine" for 
home and also have the opportunity to use the same device to make calls 
to my friends in other cities and save the long distances costs. After 
your email I'm going to try with the gumstix.

I'm looking for an asterisk solution for my "answering machine" because 
I need to run some perl scripts for a list of specific phone numbers, 
besides answer calls  and record voicemails.
