They still work on asterisk although many of their patches haven't been implemented ...

And yes they are writing (along with others) freeswitch.org and hang out on freenode #freeswitch so they are easy to get hold of if there are problems :)

Well that's nothing to their benefit then since I've heard they bash
Asterisk and are writing their own thing :P
