If you made changes to asterisk (whether in form of a module, or a
feature, or any other), and you are using it internally within your
organization, you do not have to release anything. If you are distributing
modified asterisk to your customers, yes you *have* to provide the source
code to your module to your customers, without any restrictions.
Alternatively, you can get a commercial license from Digium, then you can
distribute asterisk and your changes.
