[Asterisk-biz] Looking for a configuration software

I highly recommend ThirdLane http://thirdlane.com/opensource.htm#manager.

I've used AMP and IPManager.

My concern about AMP is the config files generated are difficult to follow
and the application is hard to install.

IPManager is a very nice product and I'm a happy user of IP Switchboard.

I like ThirdLane as it's easy to install as a WebMin application. It also
strikes a fair balance between "doing it all for you" or allowing a
consultant to setup the initial configuration and then letting the client
make routine MAC changes.

All good products in general.

Jim

But i see another opensource product, IPManager (IPSoftware), which seems to
be a good soft too. Someone already use it ?

Best regards

PBXWare is not only expensive but also does not work to configure business
phones like Polycom.

I recommend not to buy PBXware or Switchware for Asterisk as there are some
Asterisk users

I know of who paid to Bicom for the software, but has got nothing in return.
These guys have lost the

money they have paid to Bicom Systems.

I suggest that you check http://www.switchvox.com which seems to have better
compatibility for

business phones.

I would recommend using using AMP for the Asterisk configuration as this
product is maturing now and is open source.

Hi,

i'm looking for a configuration tool for asterisk (with a lot of options and
features).

I already know PBXware of Bicom Systems and xorcom rapid configuration tool.

Xorcom is good but the problem is that there is not a lot of configurations
options. Price is good.

PBXware is too expensive.

I'll be very interested in a software who can generate configurations files
for asterisk : i would like pay once for the software, but not paid for each
configurations (except if the price is low...)

Best regards,
