Ok oh wise one, what are the correct settings? I've not had much luck
with modems over sip....

That is true, however if you get the correct settings, they will also
work
just fine on IAX or SIP.   Most people just do not know the correct
settings.

I love TDM. TDM means my faxes are guaranteed to work. My modems are 
guaranteed to work.
