[Asterisk-biz] Asterisk Loud Speaker Paging

another $100
 
so around $300 maybe $350
 
it isn't cheap, but paging never is...

Hey, that looks pretty good.  I take it you've never actually done this.
But it sure looks like it would work.  A little spendy once you add the
TAMB, power supply, speaker, and analog sip adapter.  Probably pushing $600
pretty easily when it's all said and done.  But it looks like a solid
solution.

Bogen makes a Telephone Access Module that might work, use it along with an 
Analog Adapter (SPA-1000) or FXS module on a TDM400P

Assign it an extension number and then when someone wants to overhead page 
they just dial the extension.

Erick - You can take the guts from an inexpensive SIP phone, wire/solder in
a low profile speaker and treat it like a normal extension that you dial for

overhead paging.  Ugly but functional.  If anyone knows of a SIP based
overhead pager lets hear about it.
