TomTelecom, you paid it to the credit card company. The card companies 
have a responsibility to see that monis collected through them is for 
services rendered, not scams, and that the vendors they give merchant 
accounts to are legitimate. If you use a credit card to pay for services 
and those services are indisputably not rendered, you have a strong case 
for a refund, regardless of the state fo the vendor.
