Well also it depends on the contractors location. I am an American living in
the Philippines where I don't need a lot of money to live monthly, so I can
charge a lower rate, doesn't mean the service I offer is bad. Just less
expensive :) don't knock us expats who don't need to charge 150 an hour to
survive. I know guys in Bulgaria that charge 45.00 US an hour also, to them
45.00 US is a lot of money.

I've seen telecom consultants charge as much as 150/hour, and VoIP and
security people routinely charge even more.  $75 an hour sounds like the
price of a TDM guy to me, not a VoIP guy.
